Last week on ‘The View,’ co-host Whoopi Goldberg kicked Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro off the show before spitting on her backstage and telling her to “get the f**k out of the building.” Pirro has officially gotten the last laugh, however, if what happened over the weekend is any indication.
During an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program, Judge Jeanine Pirro recounted the appalling treatment she received at “The View” simply because she has different political views than the majority of the daytime talk show’s panelists.
“I’m still reeling from it, to be honest with you,” Pirro told Hannity after the melee. “I went on thinking that we would have a discussion about the book. The truth is, that it was an attack on Donald Trump, and then on me. I sat there as Whoopi Goldberg pontificated about how horrible Donald Trump was and at one point I said, ‘You know I’m here to talk about the book,’ and then she went ballistic – ended the segment.”
“She said, ‘That’s it I’m done,’ and what people didn’t see who were watching the show, was she yanked away from the desk where we were all sitting and she decided that she was going to end it. No one saw that, but it got worse,” Pirro recalled. “When I went off the stage, Sean, I’m walking downstairs and I said something like, ‘Whoopi, I fought for victims my whole life,’ and she came at me as I was leaving and she said, ‘F you,’ in my face – literally spitting at me, ‘F you, get the F out of this building.”
As Pirro noted, she just released a new book, titled “Liars, Leakers, and Liberals,” which she was on “The View” to discuss when Whoopi Goldberg derailed the segment before the Fox News host could even get a word in about it. Perhaps Goldberg thought she could stop Pirro from promoting her latest endeavor by causing a scene before Pirro had the opportunity to tell viewers about her book.
That plan failed miserably, however, because the debacle appears to have made sales of “Liars, Leakers, and Liberals” skyrocket over the weekend. That’s not exactly the outcome Whoopi had planned, to be sure.
“I do want to thank Whoopi and the ladies for helping to make my book number one on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. So go out and get a copy if you haven’t already,” Pirro said with a smile on her program over the weekend, according to The Daily Wire. She also threw some shade at Goldberg, saying, “I much preferred you in the movie ‘Ghost’ than on ‘The View.’”
“All of you saw it, and most of you probably heard both my and Whoopi’s version of what you didn’t see after I was thrown off the set,” added Pirro. “But I’m not here to rehash old news, and in the spirit of tonight’s opening statement, I’d like to close the book on this and move on. And I’d like you to do so, as well.”
Whoopi Goldberg and her cackling cohorts on “The View” love to position themselves as “tolerant” and “accepting,” but if you disagree with them at all, you’re liable to be spat on and kicked off the set faster than you can say “Make America Great Again.”
Whoopi must be foaming at the mouth right now over the news that she helped catapult Pirro’s book to the number one spot. But we couldn’t be more happy to report that Fox News’ firebrand host has gotten the last laugh in this ordeal.
