By now, we are all aware of the way former presidents George W. Bush and his father George H.W. Bush have been treating President Donald Trump. It all got much worse when they released their new book. When you first take a look at the book it seems to mostly be about the relationship between the two of them as father and son, but there are some pretty horrible comments throughout the book. And these comments are directed at someone the American people elected into office.
While writing their book, George Bush Jr. and George Bush Sr. decided to use the opportunity to say some pretty nasty things about President Donald Trump. These two stooges are supposed to be Republicans, yet they are constantly spreading hate towards our Republican president. Bush senior actually explained that he voted AGAINST Donald Trump… which only means one thing. This man is a traitor. The actions of the father and son duo are extremely confusing, and Americans are growing sick and tired of their antics.
Luckily, there are some Republicans who are remaining loyal to the party and to President Trump, and they are speaking up about the ridiculous comments made by the Bushes. Former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee was one of the first to offer his response to the comments from Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. He decided to bring up an interesting fact to make his point clear. He posted on his Twitter account that while the Bushes didn’t cast their votes for Donald Trump, he received more votes than either one of them during their respective presidential elections.
To respond to the comments made by the Bushes, Huckabee wrote, “Beyond disgusting to see Bushes trash realDonaldTrump who got more votes than them. Voted for Hillary-Really?”
The book “The Last Republicans: Inside the Extraordinary Relationship Between George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush” was written by historian Mark Updegrove. In the book, George W. Bush is quoted saying that he is concerned that President Donald Trump will be the last Republican president. Bush Sr. had a slightly different view of Donald Trump. he called the President a “blowhard” and seems to think that he is only interested in expanding his own “ego.”
These guys have got to be kidding.
George W. Bush wasn’t finished at expressing his “concern” about Trump, however. He went on to explain that he believes President Trump “doesn’t know what it means to be president.”
Americans are left with a lot of questions following the statements from the two former Republican presidents. After all that President Trump has done and is doing for our country, how can they say that he doesn’t have the best interests of our country at heart? One thing that a true conservative will never be able to understand is how a “republican” voted against Trump and FOR Hillary Clinton, one of the most corrupt Democrats our country has ever seen.
The father and son duo should be downright ashamed of themselves.
